“I BE GOOD, I BE BAD”

Uh Oh!!!! Now the truth shall some forth! I have no idea how to explain this song to you, so . . . WELCOME TO MY PRIVATE WORLD !!!

This one exposes thoughts that are meant to be private, not shared with anyone, except your lover. So, you now are looking into my private world.

QUINCY JONES, ONE OF THE MOST PHEONOMINAL ARTSIT S OF OUR CENTURY, WROTE A SONG, “BODY HEAT.” WHEW!!! WHAT A LOVE SONG!

There was a song that Quincy Jones sang about making love, Body Heat, that I have loved my whole life. Please check out this man on the web!!! His story is amazing; to read about his history go to -

Anyway, intimacy is a huge part of our existence. I enjoy watching a lot of rap and R & B music videos, and the sexual expression found in these artistic statements. They are rich in sexual exploration, and contain a very healthy attitude. I wanted to create a song, with those powers and dynamics. We, as people, are afraid to expose this side of us, which leads to a lot of secrets.

I ACTUALLY WROTE THIS SONG SO I COULD GO PLAY WITH SOME “BLUES” MUSICIANS AND EXPERIENCE THAT FREEDOM AND INTIMACY THESE PLAYERS FEEL AND EXPRESS.

I had also started playing with some blues folks, and I wanted to write a song, that I could share with these awesome musicians, like James Petteway who was Kris Kristofferson’s guitarist for over ten years. Goodness, can this guy make his guitar tell stories. So, I began the challenge.

MY STORY WAS A FANTASY. THEN GUESS WHAT!!!!????? I MET MICHAEL!!! THIS IS NOW “OUR” STORY!!!

I needed a story, and at the time, I wrote this story for this song, it was all just a fantasy to meet a man that understood my thoughts. Then Michael came along. He is just like the man in this song!!!! It is strange!!!

I WAS WILD AS A TEENAGER!!! I KNOW!! WHO, SWEET LITTLE ME!!! WELL, OK, I WAS NOT REALLY THAT WILD!!!!

As a teenager, and even younger, I was wild. And, neither you nor anyone else could tame me. So, I always felt like I was bad, but not really. And there was a guy in our town who was also pretty wild, but he was the only guy my grandfather would actually let me go out with, because this guy’s parents had money and were friends with my grandparents, So here we were; our parents not caring if We “DATED,” but yet, we were the source of the troubles. Who will ever get parents! But I brought that idea to this song, of that tease, that he is bad too. But this guy and I were not intimate. So, I had to work on that part.

I NEEDED TO FIND SOMEONE WITH THE SAME !!! WE ALL COME FROM DIFFERENT PLACES. IT IS NICE WHEN YOU BOTH COME FROM THE SIMILAR SPACES!!! ATLEAST TO ME!!!!

This song I wanted to express the idea that this woman has a history. She has had her ups and downs. Her innocence is gone, but her heart is still a child. The encounter of this guy who is her equal becomes a safe place where she can experience and become all her own fantasies, while exploring his as well. He has his own plate of troubles, and background stuff. So, maybe, for the first time in their lives, they can be honest with another human, and know their truths. Honesty begins in the bedroom, but is has to be free. So, these two can be exactly who they are.

Who we are and where we have been CAN BE THE BOND BETWEEN LOVERS!

Anyway, the song for me was a desire. Interestingly enough, and Michael and I laugh every time I sing this song, this song became our truth. We are not children; we have pasts, and some things in us most people would never understand. I am an artist. Hello!! But who we are and where we have been is our bond. With each other, we are now whole.

Allow love in your heart everyday! It heals, protects and is the best!!!

I hope all of you find your truths…..with this song! Go For IT and allow each day to bring love in you heart. Love heals, and Love protects. It is the best!!

We share our love with all of you!!!!
